Privacy policy

The full policy is being prepared with counsel. Until it is published, this page states plainly what the site collects today and who to contact about it. Nothing here is a substitute for the final document.

What this site collects

Two forms on the site collect information, and only when you choose to submit them.

The first is the contact form in the footer, which takes your name, work email, organization, and a short message about what needs to move. Submissions are emailed to hello@carcompany.care so we can reply.

The second is the navigator application. It collects the information an employment application needs: your name and contact details, the position you want and when you can start, education and training, employment history, professional references, driving qualification answers where driving is part of the role, any accommodation you ask for, and a resume if you attach one. Completed applications are emailed to careers@carcompany.care and used for recruiting and hiring. That form does not ask for salary history, date of birth, age, Social Security number, criminal history, or medical information, and you should not provide them. California applicants: the application page carries the full notice at collection required by California law, including the categories collected, why, who it may be disclosed to, and how long it is kept.

Everything else reaches us because you emailed hello@carcompany.care, so what we hold is whatever you chose to put in that message.

The site sets one item in your browser's local storage — the light or dark theme you last chose — so the page opens the way you left it. It is not an identifier and it is not sent anywhere. The application page adds a second item: a draft of your answers, so a long form survives a closed tab. That draft stays on your device, is never sent to us on its own, and is deleted when you submit the application. If you are on a shared or public computer, use the “Discard saved answers” button on that page when you are done.

What we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you, and to work out whether we can do what you need. Application information is used to evaluate you for the role, arrange interviews, verify what you have told us, and meet our legal obligations as an employer. We do not sell any of it. We do not use it for advertising.

What this site is not for

Please do not send patient information to the address above. It is a business enquiry address, not a clinical channel. Where we handle protected health information as part of delivering a service, that is governed by the business associate agreement in the relevant contract, not by this page.

Asking us to delete it

Email hello@carcompany.care and ask. We will confirm when it is done. For anything to do with a job application, write to careers@carcompany.care instead — that is where applications are handled.

Changes

When the full policy is published it will replace this page, and the date below will change.
